   My husband has been wearing these for years as he can’t bear tight tops to socks. These thermal socks are warm and the extra thickness makes them comfortable to wear. The washing codes on the pack say that you can wash them at 40 degrees centigrade but that is not my experience. At that temperature they shrink over time. I’ve take to washing them in a wool cold wash and they haven’t been noticeably shrinking on that regime.

   These socks are very good quality. They wash really well and no shrinkage. They are very warm and cosy.
